The American Bar Association Commission on Domestic Violence -
is pleased to announce a new resource on our website - a series of charts summarizing statutes from all 50 states regarding domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. Resources-Against-Crime: National Support Groups

United States Department of Justice - Office on Violence Against Women -
The mission of the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is to provide federal leadership to reduce violence against women, and to administer justice for and strengthen services to all victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This is accomplished by developing and supporting the capacity of state, local, tribal, and non-profit entities involved in responding to violence against women.

Domestice Violence Hotline and Resources -
The National Domestic Violence Hotline 1-800-799-SAFE(7233)is staffed 24 hours a day by trained counselors who can provide crisis assistance and information about shelters, legal advocacy, health care centers, and counseling.

National Organization for Victim Assistance -
The National Organization for Victim Assistance is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization of victim and witness assistance programs and practitioners, criminal justice agencies and professionals, mental health professionals, researchers, former victims and survivors, and others committed to the recognition and implementation of victim rights and services.

Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network -
The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network is the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization. RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline and carries out programs to prevent sexual assault, help victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.

Pandora's Aquarium -
Pandora's Aquarium is an online support group, message board, and chat room for rape, sexual abuse, & sexual assault victims & survivors. They also provide a listing of National Rape Aggression Defense Courses.
