May 15, 2008, Women’s Self-Defense Institute Collects Used Cell Phones for Domestic Violence Victims

Women’s Self-Defense Institute announced today the kickoff of their cell phone fundraising program to raise money for domestic violence programs. Many of the phones will go to domestic violence victims for use in emergency situations, with others sold to provide funds for shelters and social service providers.
